Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to ECONOMIST: Jurnal Ekonomi dan Bisnis will undergo a double-blind review process. Reviewers will not know the identity of the authors, and the authors will not know the identity of the reviewers.

In general, each article will be reviewed by one to two reviewers.

The reviewers’ comments and recommendations will serve as the basis for the Editor to make one of the following decisions:

  1. Revision Required
  2. Accept Submission
  3. Reject Submission

An article may be rejected for publication based on various considerations, including:

  1. The article is outside the journal’s scope.
  2. The article does not follow the standards of academic writing or does not comply with the author guidelines.
  3. The article contains fundamental methodological errors.
  4. The authors refuse to address the reviewers’ suggestions for improvement without a logical justification.
  5. There is an indication of plagiarism exceeding 25%
